We'll be participating in the "Tents of Hope" campaign started by the UCC to help raise awareness for the plight of Darfur. This is an unbelievable chance for the youth to give back and learn about a culture that so desparately needs our help.</div> <bR> <div> Saturday, May 3: All youth are encouraged to participate in the Community Clean Up Day sponsored by Burkhart Insurance. The money earned from the collected trash will go toward gas money on the Mission trip. Even tnose who can't make the trip are encouraged to help as a way to contribute to the mission.</div> <bR> <div> Saturday, May 10: The Youth will be going to Evansville for a day of laser tag and shopping. We will leave from the church parking lot at 10 AM.</div> <bR> <div> Sunday, May 18: Graduates will be recognized. If you haven't turned in your graduate info, please do so ASAP.</div> <bR> <div> The beginning of this month also brings the end of Bert's long reign at the helm of the church office. On behalf of the Youth, I would like to thank her for all the help and for making sure that our "stuff" was always where it should be.
